DMCA Notice – Copyright Policy of IPTV North

Last updated: April 17, 2026

This page explains how IPTV North deals with copyright complaints under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA): what a complaint must contain, how we review it, how counter-notices work and how quickly we respond.

On this page: our commitment · what to include in a DMCA notice · review steps · misrepresentation warning · counter-notices · repeat infringers · where to send your notice

Our Commitment to Rights Holders

IPTV-North.com respects creators and complies with the DMCA. When we receive a valid notice of alleged copyright infringement, we act on it quickly.

If you think a copyright you own is being infringed by something offered on our service, tell us right away so we can look into it and respond appropriately.

Good to know: a clear and complete notice lets us move fast. Notices that leave out required information can be delayed or refused.

What Your DMCA Notice Must Include

A takedown request is only valid if the written notice contains all of the elements below. A missing element can make the whole notice invalid.

Who you are

  • Your full legal name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your postal mailing address

The work you are protecting

  • Name the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed
  • Describe it precisely enough for us to understand your claim

Where the material appears

  • Tell us exactly where on our service the material can be found, or describe its location
  • Add links, the channel or title involved, and any other detail that helps us identify it

The mandatory statements

  • A declaration of your good-faith belief that neither the rights owner, nor its agent, nor the law permits the use you are reporting
  • A declaration confirming that everything in your notice is accurate
  • A declaration, made under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights owner or have permission to represent them

Your signature

  • A handwritten or electronic signature (your typed full name is fine)

How We Review a DMCA Notice

Every notice goes through the same structured process so that valid complaints are dealt with quickly and fairly.

Step 1 – You send the notice. Email your complaint with every required element.

Step 2 – We check it. Our team makes sure nothing is missing and that the request is valid.

Step 3 – We act. Every valid complaint is looked into and resolved within 24 hours.

Our response time: we process every DMCA request within 24 hours of receiving it. Valid complaints are investigated without delay and handled in line with applicable copyright law.

Warning About Misrepresentation

Section 512(f) of the DMCA makes a person who knowingly and materially misstates that content infringes a copyright liable for damages, which can include legal fees and the costs of court proceedings.

Before you file: if you are not certain that the material infringes your rights, speak with a lawyer first. Sending a notice that is false or made in bad faith can have serious legal consequences.

IPTV-North.com may set aside or refuse a notice that looks abusive, leaves out essential elements, or contains details we have reasonable grounds to think are false.

Filing a Counter-Notice

If you believe material was taken down in error, you can reply with a counter-notice sent to the same email address. This process is governed by Section 512(g) of the DMCA.

A counter-notice must contain:

  • Your name plus your postal address, phone and email contact details
  • An identification of the content that was taken down or made unavailable
  • A declaration, under penalty of perjury, of your good-faith belief that the takedown was an error
  • Your acceptance that Canadian courts have jurisdiction
  • A signature, either handwritten or electronic

When a valid counter-notice arrives, IPTV-North.com lets the original complainant know and may put the content back within 10 to 14 business days, unless the complainant goes to court to block the restoration.

Repeat Infringers

Where the circumstances justify it, and entirely at our discretion, IPTV-North.com closes the accounts of users found to repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights. We apply this rule consistently and in line with the DMCA safe harbor provisions.

We may also take down, without warning, anything that seems to breach a third party's intellectual property rights.
